About

My name’s Andy Dodwell, I’m fairly bald, and I’m working for the Church of England as a vicar, and as part of my job i’m encouraging people to grow in their faith, to discover faith and respond to the challenging teachings of Jesus.

The best place i can start doing that is in my own life, and while i guard carefully my family and time from over-exposure, i find that online its a good way for me to think through and reflect on my own faith.

I’m not a natural journaller, so this feels odd- i’m more comfortable with conversations, so any replies are appreciated as it helps me feel that i’m doing more than shouting into a vacuum…

I have various other ‘on-line presences’ and have played around with Posterous and journalled at St Pixels in the past, as well as using Twitter and Facebook so you can find and follow me in various ways if you’re so inclined.

Have a good day, blessings and peace.

  2. Thank-you so very much for the follow. I found your site through reading that shocking post about the missing Nigerian girls and seeing that you had re-blogged it. News about this has gone very quiet recently. Is anything being done I wonder.

    1. hassle the MP’s, support Stop the Traffik… the really scary thing is that around that number of girls go missing every day around the world being trafficked. In areas near the Cambodia/Thailand border Tearfund estimate 1 in 3 girls will end up going from their village to the sex trade as they seek ‘a better life’.
